The Geminids are one of the year’s major meteor showers, known for producing bright, frequent meteors. But this isn’t simply a night of watching shooting stars. It is a full night immersed in nature — camping beneath the stars, discovering galaxies and nebulae through high-grade telescopes, learning how astrophotography captures objects billions of light-years away, gathering around a campfire, and experiencing the night sky through both science and the astronomical traditions of Indonesia and Bali.
No rushing home after stargazing. No fixed “telescope session.” The telescopes stay ready throughout the night — you decide how you want to experience it.
Stay awake and explore the sky until dawn, or retreat to your tent whenever you need to rest. Our astronomy team will be there throughout the night.

Where the sky meets the savannah
We’ve chosen Savana Tianyar in Karangasem specifically for this experience. Located in one of Bali’s drier regions, the area offers wide, open landscapes with minimal visual obstruction — a natural setting for spending an entire night under the stars.

The Geminids are expected to reach their peak viewing window. Lie back, look up, and watch for meteors crossing the sky. Telescopes will still be operating, with no queues.
